Kathy L. Nealy has long been an active member of the local, national and international political community. With contacts on many levels of government and business, Kathy, has built a successful career as a consultant, planner and advocate. She also is an expert in urban planning and zoning. Ms. Nealy has also acted as a consultant to both local and national candidates as well as orchestrated successful bond referendums and elections. Kathy has served major corporations and government institutions from Dallas City Hall to the White House. Kathy served as the Former Political Director for the Texas Democratic Party, and in the Clinton Administration, Kathy was a Lead Advance consultant to the Office of Scheduling and Advance for the President, Vice President and First Lady, responsible for logistical arrangements and briefings for domestic and international travel for the White House as well as for international figures. These trips lead her to 35 countries including Vietnam, Botswana, Geneva, Brussels and Tokyo. Kathy is a life-long member of the N.A.A.C.P., the National Registry of Who’s Who, the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce, the Texas Coalition of Black Democrats, and the Oak Cliff Democrats. Kathy also served as on the board of directors for the National World Affairs Councils of America, American Diabetes Association, the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, and is the current Senate District Executive Committee (SDEC) Committeewoman for the 23rd Senatorial District of Texas.
